Perspective Grid Creator — build clean 1–3 vanishing-point grids in two workflows: From Image and From Cube. Work comfortably on a screen-fitted canvas; exports render at true resolution.
Modes
- From Cube
- VP count — pick 1/2/3 VP. In 1VP/2VP some axes stay parallel by design.
- Rotate & aim — bottom lever = Yaw, right lever = Pitch; drag on canvas to orbit until you reach your prefered position. Hold Shift for fine control. Use Presets for quick setups.
- FOV — slider or mouse wheel to widen/narrow perspective.
- Axis & screen grid — set axis colors; enable a screen-aligned helper grid if needed.
- Show cube — render a centered wireframe cube synchronized with the VPs to validate perspective.
- From Image
- Load image… — choose a file, drag & drop, or paste. Toggle Show Background Image anytime.
- VP1/VP2/VP3 → Draw VP lines — click-drag the first guide, then the second; the fan is created automatically.
- Adjust — drag the round handles; fans update live. Use global Line Thickness and Line Spacing to tune all fans.
- Per-VP controls — set Line Color, toggle Show Fan, or Delete.
Export
- Export Grid — choose Export background (Transparent or Color).
- From Image: optionally enable Clip to image bounds to export at the photo’s exact pixels.
- From Cube: export at window size; background image is not required.
Notes
- For print-ready lines without the photo, hide the background and pick a solid export color (e.g., white).
- Fans use uniform angular sampling; global thickness/spacing apply consistently across all VPs.
Shortcuts
- Ctrl/Cmd + V — paste image from clipboard
- Mouse Wheel — adjust FOV (Cube mode)
- Shift — fine adjustments while dragging
- Esc — cancel drawing in progress
